Barbouch Interpretation

FAQ

Are your services confidential?

Confidentiality is paramount in the interpreter’s role. All information, whether spoken or written, encountered during the course of professional duties will be treated as confidential. This commitment to confidentiality is upheld in accordance with applicable requirements concerning disclosure.

If we happen to cross paths in public, at a community event, or at the grocery store, you can trust that I will never drop any hints or disclose any information indicating that you have been a client of mine or that we have worked together. Your confidentiality and privacy are always respected and maintained.

Do you interpret everything?

Interpreters are bound by their code of ethics at all times and in any situation. If there’s something you prefer not to have interpreted, it shouldn’t be mentioned during the meeting. Everything said during a session must be interpreted, regardless of any subsequent changes in preference. Interpreters cannot lie, withhold information, or omit translations of what is communicated.

Do you interpret over the phone?

If the professional you’re meeting with agrees, I’ll be more than happy to provide interpretation services over the phone for you.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cheques and e-transfers. We do not accept payments in Cash or Credit Card.
